Yes , wishing he hadn't signed on for Dreamboats long delayed re-imagining of the classic movie 'Dive' is Kyle Gallner , what can I say , the world recession scuppered our plans to film in Brazil and when a disused Frankfurter plant became available in Chicago , director John Walters decided that was the way to go .

Of course the above picture is from the new trailer for 'Nightmare on Elm Street' , which hopefully unlike 'The Tormented' which even with Action Alex and Dreamy Dirmrti was quite a torment to watch . A pleasant surprise for me is the discovery that Kyle's character is a swimmer which of course does pose the big question ' Speedos or Jammers? ' as we know few young Hollywood stars have dared to slip into the speedo and gone on to have a glittering career .

Johnathan Taylor Thomas comes to mind when he showcased what a stunning bod he had in the short and moving film 'Common Ground' . Jeremy Sumptuous opted for the racing jammer when he became addicted to porn in 'Cyber Seduction: His Secret Life ' . Who could forget Gregory Smiths dazzling green speedo debut in ' The Book of Love '.

Then camp classic ' The Convent ' showcased the tiniest speedo known to a movie costumer , as worn by Taylor Kitsch alongside Toby Hemingway, Chace Crawford, and of course the lovely Steven Strait .

Could it be though that Kyle is set to surprise us and Freddy with the rarely seen on screen combo of both a speedo and drag shorts ? Well we'll have to wait next year to find out .

Turning heads at the Teen Vogue Party ' Young Hollywood Party ' its the 'Idol of the Imax 'Taylor Lautner . I wonder does Taylor have a stylist now he's famous ? If he does that stylists got great taste , I think its cool how spiffy Taylor looks at these events .

Yes once again all eyes were on 'The Rock Cherub' - George Craig as he sauntered down the catwalk and brought the London Fashion Week to a stunning Climax . As George came to a stop on the runway , he gave a cheeky wink to Harry Potter star Rupert Grint , causing the red head star to blush uncontrollably . Sitting next to Rupert was photographer to the stars Mario Testino who would love to get George in front of his lens ! . A source close to Mario's entourage said '' Mario saw the video for 'One Night Only's' debut single '', which featured George riding a retro bike , Mario shrieked with delight and said ' I must ave that boy and his chopper for my new muse !'

Backstage under a mop of carefully styled locks , the Rock Cherub in a carefree mood , said he found being the most sought after muse in the fashion world ' flattering' .

Yes as Smallville which is of my favourite shows returns tonight , and prompted by a great first issue of Superman Secret Orgins . I thought lets look back at the man of steels younger years as SuperBoy ! Although Superboy had been appearing in comics , well for yonks and following a one off unaired pilot in 1961. It wasn't until Ilya Salkind producer of the first 3 Superman movies and Supergirl that the Boy of Steel took flight on our screens .

Starring as Clark Kent / Superboy was John Haymes Newton who looking at him now has perhaps just a touch of the porn star about him , but maybe that's just my imagination running away with with . Although John in my eyes looked mighty fine in lycra , one demand for a pay rise later and John was kryptonite . Slipping in to the red and blue lycra was actor Gerard Christopher who stayed with the show through out its remaining 3 seasons .

Following years in movie development hell , Superman lived again in Bryan Singers 'Superman Returns' . Popping up at the beginning of the movie was young Clark Kent this time played by Stephen Bender (later to play Nathan play in the stunning 'Dreamboy' . ) Stephen ran at super speed through the corn fields , took off , flew again and crashed through the Kent farm barn roof , where he discovered he was not like other teenage boys .

Smallville now amazingly in its 9 season and despite never going near 'The Red and Blue Supersuit' ( a lycra phobia perhaps? ) Supertom does seems tantalizingly ever closer to becoming Superman . I though do though miss Lex and their bromance , ''Our friendship will become the stuff of legends''said Lex gazing into Clark eyes. (I'm sure Carter J has twittered the very same speech to Austin B).

Back in the comics it was time once more to tell the origin of Superman and in the first issue of Superman Secret Origin , we get to witness that historical moment where Clark slips into that lycra for for the first time .

I do love Ash , even more so after I watched this super video of their new single 'True Love 1980 ' and will be in Record Stores everywhere from October 13th . There's also a really good remix by Timothy Allen of the single which rips out the guitars and amps up the elctro pop .I could so see this vid with Glee boys Kurt and Finn/Puck in it .

Yes its the kiss we never wanted to see , but once again Evil Emma has got her man . Evil Emma was last seen driving Carter and his banging bod to the airport where he was due to be exiled to Canada for the rest of his acting life . Carter as we know was hotly pursed by Austin B in the bromobile . Don't panic bromance fans as the kiss is just a screen kiss in the sure to be comedy smash 'Valentine's Day' trailer . Actually as screen kisses go this one I thought was rather good .

Back in the real world Austin and Carter continue to tweet away , with Austin drinking a power drink which so energized him that he ripped his T Shirt off and posted the vid on You Tube , causing the site to crash . No, that not what I said to Austins Butler's Agents when they emailed Dreamboats to say Austin will not be available to audition for Glee for the specially created role of Coach Sue Sylvester's adopted son -' Aaron Sylvester' . Austin it appears will be busy as he's already signed up for 'Aliens in the Attic 2 - The Probe ! '.

Coach Sylvester herself was not at all happy , once again her dastardly schemes to close down Glee back fired . Full of fury she took matters to a head and hit the girls where it would hurt the most . Yes she revoked their tanning privileges of her two cheer leading spies for the rest of the season .

The Reaction !

An uneven episode to be sure , why would Will suddenly go off from Glee club ?, when we saw in the previous 2 episodes how much Glee meant to him . I did enjoy the subtly of Kurt's ' coming out ' to Mercedes . Mind you if Mercedes need any more clues it was right there in front of her face displayed in Kurt's open locker door , was a bare chested torso pin up visible for all to see .

Kurt said he'd been in love with his mystery crush for while , while it would sweet for it to be Finn . I'm sort of hoping it might be Puck and his amazing torso . Sadly for me it looks as though Puck caught Coach Sylvester's eye ! A cougar hunting Coach , who would have thought ?.

Kick Ass - stylish !

Yes Red Mist can barely contain himself as Kick Ass ! well and truly has his buns kicked in Issue Seven, having been set up by Red Mist . Don't panic though due to Metal plates being placed in Kick Asses head , ( This occurred in the first issue when having already been knifed our hero was then run over by a passing Batmobile , probably Robin Joyriding . However this accident did have his benefits as Kick Ass had to take off his uniform to prevent his Dad seeing him in his Supersuit . Kick Ass then collapsed naked as you do . ) Kick Ass ! survives and will return for the big climax to the comics first run .

Like a towering Gladiator in search of his Toga , its Giant Nick on the red carpet looking spiffy , I'm guessing in Tom Ford at the Venice Film Festival premiere of the Tom Ford directed 'A Single Man . This film has been golden showered with praise which can only be a good thing,for admires of Giant Nick. Maybe Tom will lower the price of his fragrances as a 'thank you' .

I'd totally forgotten about the movie until a post at Famous Males reminded me . Apparently Giant Nick stalks Colin Firths Character , now personally if Giant Nick were stalking me I'd have no complaints , but to see how Colin handles Nicks attentions we'll just have to see the movie .

Rory Rocks in Tighty Whiteys

Rory - Packed with Potential !

The other day I watched Lymelife , which has so much to like , some great performances , subtle direction by Derick Martini and a sweet soundtrack which put me in mind of Wes Anderson . But best of it had Rory shirtless and in his tighty whiteys . Rory as we know was selected to be part of Teen Vogues 'it crew' in their annual Young Hollywood edition . Rory was their 'quirky' choice . I've always liked Rory from when he popped up in 'Mean Creek' with Ryan Kelly and another one of fav's Scott Mechlowicz . I next caught Rory in 'Down in the Valley' a cool film which I guess had some classic western '' Shane '' moments in it , as Rory's character Lonnie appeared to be in a state of hero worship to cowboy Harlan played by Edward Norton.

Lymelife , for me proves once again that 'quirky' type actors can have unexpected bonus when they go shirtless , I'm thinking of Justin Long here . But back to Lymelife and we find that Rory's character is in love with Evil Emma played by well Evil Emma Roberts. Well we can't have everything and lets cut to a few a scenes on , where we find ...Rory home from school , shirtless and in front of the mirror . Rory is overcome by his longing for the evil one .But just as his hand moves under his waist band and before Rory can launch his rocket he's called for dinner .

The next scene I do blame Evil Emma for interrupting , as Rory talks to himself in the mirror shirtless ,with Han Solo looking down . He's startled by a stone being thrown at the window ! Yes its Evil Emma ! demanding to know why Rocking Rory made up stories that he went '' All the way with her '' - what a minx ! As the camera pans down we see Rory in his tightly whiteys ! aghast that hes been rumbled and clearly worried that he too could be Canada bound to film in Vancouver and the surrounding areas for the rest of his indie boi quirky career .

Yes lets help Austin find the job of his dreams , The first thing he needs to do is show he's available and be willing to do what ever it takes . This may mean turning up to premieres and fund raisers without his plus one - Carter J , but with close friend Ashley Tisdale.

Auditions , It has to be Glee , they still have I'm guessing a fair few episodes to be written and just think Austin could be the new student who turns heads and becomes the first male cheerleader to join Coach Sue Sylvester's award winning squad .
